Bonalu is a state festival now in telangana.Its official now with the GO of Principal
Secretary-Endowments B. Venkateswara Rao asking Commissioner-Endowments and
other related departments to look into necessary arrangements for the festival
i.e supply of drinking water, sanitation
and electricity,Road patch works etc.

Bonalu
festivities are done with much enthusiasm and traditional rituals performed at
temples are witnessed with lakhs of devotees.To make the things more convenient
for the devotees coming from other districts and states,Telangana Tourism
Development Corporation has announced a special one day tour package.This tour package
is available on 29th June,13th20th July.The pick up point
for the same is Yatri Nivas Secundrabad.Adult fare for the package is Rs.500
and children Rs.450.Temple darshan tickets should be borne by the pilgrims separately.Pilgrims
